Cataracts
Most adults will develop cataracts eventually — typically in their 60s or beyond. Modern cataract surgery is one of the most successful procedures in medicine, and the lens implants now available can dramatically reduce or eliminate the need for glasses afterward. If we've diagnosed early cataracts, we'll monitor over time and refer when surgery is genuinely warranted — not before.
