A Fellow of the Scleral Lens Education Society, Dr. Elson has developed particular expertise in dry eye disease, specialty contact lenses, keratoconus, and other complex corneal conditions. In addition to caring for patients, he lectures nationally on dry eye treatment, glaucoma management, myopia control, and specialty contact lenses. He serves as a consultant to multiple companies in the optometry and ophthalmology industries, advises a local refractive surgery center, and has participated in clinical research involving dry eye disease, myopia control, and scleral lenses.

An Orange County native, Dr. Elson earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern California College of Optometry after graduating with honors from California State University, Chico. Outside the office, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife Taylor, their children Aiden and Eloise, and their dog Naya.
